Dark or unpublished post- How to create

Have you heard about dark or unpublished post on Facebook?

If yes do you know how to create those?

Today I will let you know how to create a dark post on Facebook with specific call to action buttons.

Facebook has recently launched a new feature called call-to-action buttons. You can create an organic post as well as an ad with these CTA buttons in them.

Note: You can create call-to-action buttons with link posts only.

As of now there are 5 types of call-to-action buttons out there which you can include in your link post.

1. Shop Now

2. Learn More

3. Sign Up

4. Book Now

5. Download

Facebook is testing some more call-to-action buttons like Install now, Open Link, Use App, etc.

Well, this is the information about call to action buttons, now let’s come to the main topic how to create Dark post.

First step is, you have to use Power Editor (Chrome only plug-in). When you have installed the plug in open this URL in your Browser https://www.facebook.com/powereditor.

This will show you your ads account. You have to select manage pages from the drop down on the upper left of your screen. Check in the screenshot

Put the link for which you want to create post. After that put text which you want to use then select one call to action out of these five. Headline for your link, Display link and description put all these accordingly. You can also upload image of your choice or Facebook will fetch the image from your link (If link have any image).

You can use this post for an ad or you can publish it organically on your page. As we are creating this to post organically select second option and click on create post.

I have created one to show an example. After clicking on create post your all posts will shows up and the one that is unpublished there is a blue/white sign on that post. Check in screenshot:

After reviewing you post how it looks like you can click on publish now.  Hang on, this is not done, after clicking on publish now you have to click on the upload changes.

Now your post has been published.
